The Tivoli matelasse collection consists of the classic Tivoli design, on a wonderfully thick matelasse, made with 100% Giza Egyptian Cotton.

This fabric is made in Italy, at a mill that has passed down through several generations. There is a substantial difference in the quality of Italian spinning, weaving, and finishing compared to Asian and Indian fabrics. Our Italian fabrics will remain colourfast, beautiful, and sensuous to the touch far longer than others.

The thread in these fabrics has been spun entirely from pure 100% Giza Egyptian Cotton. No other cotton types have been spun into these wonderful fabrics (Please note that some “Egyptian Cottons” have only a small percentage of Egyptian cotton content). Giza is the finest of all the different types of Egyptian Cottons.

This is a remarkable fabric made up of two threads, or strands, twisted together to make 2 ply threads of exceptional quality; a 480 strand count fabric. This special twisted double thread imparts greater strength and longevity to the fabric, while maintaining incredible softness.
