This fabric is made in Germany, at a mill that specializes in producing only silk. They are experts in this, and their silks are beautiful, lustrous, and completely machine washable. There is a substantial difference in the quality of their spinning, weaving, and finishing compared to Asian and Indian fabrics.

The Karat collection features a modern, symetrical overall square pattern in silk and reverse. Made with 450 Thread Count, 100% Wild Tussah Silk.

Care

Machine wash on gentle cycle, medium temperature, without any other type of articles. For best results, turn inside out and launder in a mesh bag. Do not use bleach or any other detergent containing bleach. Do not use Woolite or Persil. A good quality laundry soap formulated for fine fabrics such as Zero or Ivory is best.
