This fabric is made in Germany, at a mill that specializes in producing only silk. They are experts in this, and their silks are beautiful, lustrous, and completely machine washable. There is a substantial difference in the quality of their spinning, weaving, and finishing compared to Asian and Indian fabrics.

These fabulous pillowcases soothe the skin at night with the famous smoothness of silk. This special fabric has a surface of pure silk, with a cotton base (60% Silk / 40% Cotton).

Machine wash and dry on gentle cycles with a pure soap. Please note that this silk will not be as shiny after the first laundering. Sewn in Canada with German fabric.
