This fabric is made in Germany, at a mill that specializes in producing only silk. They are experts in this, and their silks are beautiful, lustrous, and completely machine washable. There is a substantial difference in the quality of their spinning, weaving, and finishing compared to Asian and Indian fabrics.

Care

Machine wash on gentle cycle, medium tempurature, without any other type of articles. For best results, turn inside out and launder in mesh bag. Do not use Bleach or any detergent containing bleach. Do not use Woolite or Persil. A good quality laundry soap formulated for fine fabrics such as Zero or Ivory is best.
