This fabric is made in Germany, at a mill that specializes in producing only silk. They are experts in this, and their silks are beautiful, lustrous, and completely machine washable. There is a substantial difference in the quality of their spinning, weaving, and finishing compared to Asian and Indian fabrics.

The Manciano collection consists of a Small Lattice Pattern, and a Solid. You can mix and match pieces from the other St. Geneve silk collections with Manciano. This silk is completely machine washable and dryable. Please note that this silk will not be as shiny after the first laundering.
