The German made silk and cotton covers are completely dust mite proof. There are no chemical finishes, just a special weave that renders the fabric down and mite proof. The quality of the weave is so high, it retains these attributes even after repeated washings.

These pillows are machine washable, however the zippered pillow covers must be dry cleaned professionally.
