The Difference of a Silk Pillowcase

Silk pillowcases are more than just a fad - there are real beauty benefits to sleeping on silk!

  • Better Skin The smooth surface of silk limits the amount of friction that skin is exposed to during sleep, which prevents sleep creases, and could lead to wrinkle reduction.

  • Better Hair / Good for All Hair Types! That smooth surface can also improve hair health. Less friction means less that your hair can glide over the surface, resulting in less tangles in your tresses... and leadi to less breakage and healthier hair! Silk pillowcases have received glowing reviews, particularly among people with textured hair, who cite improved moisture retention in their curls as a major benefit to sleeping on silk.

  • Keep Skin Hydrated Silk is less absorbent than cotton and other natural fibres, which means that expensive pre-bedtime serums and moisturizers stay on the skin - where they are the most beneficial! - rather than on the pillow.

  • Breathability A natural fibre, silk is wonderfully breathable. Breathability is an important factor in selecting comfortable bed linens - it provides better temperature neutrality, preventing sleepers from feeling excessively warm or clammy. Synthetic fibres, may feel smooth like silk, but these polyester-based fabrics are not breathable.
